ANTIQUE SILVER cca. 1850 - 1890















A  repousse  antique  sterling silver tea caddy chased with multiple large flowers and ferns in great detail and in crisp codition- Circa 1890













A german antizue silver tea caddy with embossed romantic figural scenes on front and back.
Decorated with cast applied cherub finial and ornamentation on the top. Marked on the base. Circa 1890












An Hanovarian silver basket shaped double tea caddy chased with flowers and leaves on the body and lid.

An oversized sterling silver repousse tea ball by Gorham with a date letter M for 1880. Monogrammed „John” as shown.

















A silver carafe made for export to the Western market. The lid hinges back to open. There are finaly chased scrolls, flowers and leavesand an applied handle. The second side shows the lion defeated. Unmarked.













Very unusual Gorham silver apple with hinged lid and textured surface. Applied leaf decoration. The lid fits together with the base with a jagged irregular seam as if the apple had been peeled open. Dated 1883 with the Gorham date letter P.













German, 800 silver, around 1900. Oval, pressed down Corpus on four feet, hinged lid. Wall gilded interior, partially rubbed, outer wall and lid provided with a rich Reliefdekorum. Mostly cherubs and flower decoration in landscape and architectural decoration. On the lid relief image music-making putti. Highly representative.
